MCIT will persoalkan cyber ethics at IGF 2013

Indonesia to host the Internet Governance Forum ( IGF ) is eighth on 22-25 October 2013 at Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center ( BNDCC ) , Nusa Dua , Bali , in the midst of the hard work of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology efforts with various stakeholders to address the various problems associated with internet service .

IGF is a multi-stakeholder forum that is open and inclusive set up under paragraph 72 Tunis Agenda . Before the implementation of the IGF , the Government of Indonesia held a High Level Leaders Meeting ( HLLM ) on October 21, 2013 in the same place , BNDCC .
HLLM is a forum for the participants to understand the IGF IGF . In HLLM , Indonesia invited the participants to discuss the theme of ' Global Multi - stakeholder Collaboration for Achieving a Safe , Secure , and Tolerant Cyberspace : Enabling Growth and Sustainable Development through Cyber ​​Ethics ' .
IGF Bali which will begin on October 22, 2013 will be the theme of ' Building Bridges - Enhancing Multi-Stakeholder Cooperation for Growth and Sustainable Development ' with the aim to strengthen the multi-stakeholder collaboration in regulating the Internet . The event was attended by approximately 2,000 participants consisting of various elements , such as the government , private sector , non- governmental organizations , communities , and academia .
Accordance with the schedule , the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Tifatul Sembiring will officially open the event HLLM . In his speech , according to the Minister of Communications and Information Technology recana will underscore the importance of cyber ethics ( cyber ethics ) in the global Internet setting .
