31 -year -old Lucy is the third generation using a wedding dress the 63-year -old . The historic wedding dress reportedly purchased in 1950 by her grandmother , Mel Calder . Penny Dafform , mother Lucy also use it when she got married in 1974.
The first dress is only worth about 172 pounds ( or USD ) when it was purchased by Mel to marry Ian Calder in London . Afterwards , the wedding dress was also worn when she married Penny degan Harry Dafform in Surrey .
Lucy decided to continue the tradition of her mother to wear the same wedding dress at her wedding to Mark Popovic , as reported by the Daily Mail ( 15/10 ) .
" We had a fairly short time and I have not been trying on the dress , so I'm not sure I wore the dress fit . Oddly , the gown very fit , and very amazing how we have the same body size when they got married , " said Lucy .
